Lemmy Got a Pacemaker Earlier This Year

Motorhead was forced to postpone a tour of Europe due to Lemmy Kilmister's health problems.

Guitarist Phil Campbell explained Lemmy's health issues to WalesOnline.  Diabetes and an irregular heartbeat led to Lemmy getting fitted with a pacemaker earlier this year.  Campbell explains, “But his ticker’s fine now and he’s made sufficient changes to his lifestyle and diet in order to combat the diabetes, it’s just that he felt he wasn’t 100% ready to go back on the road just yet."

Lemmy has a hard persona and is revered by heavy metal fans.  Campbell calls him, "the John Wayne of rock."

But, the singer/bassist is 67-years-old and Campbell admits, "Lemmy's condition didn't exactly come as a massive shock."
