Jack White threw out the first pitch Tuesday night for his hometown team, the Detroit Tigers.
He pitched to Santa Claus.
It was "Christmas in July" night at Comerica Park. So, according to the Detroit Free Press, White's road manager Lalo Medina donned a Santa suit and caught White's pitch. Well. He attempted to catch White's pitch.
White told the newspaper, "It's just one of those days you throw a split-fingered fastball to Santa Claus."
White has been attending a lot of MLB ballparks, recently. Last week, he did not look thrilled to be at Wrigley Field.
